Day by day Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome to Tanzania!

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by our representative and transferred to your comfortable accommodation in Arusha. Take some time to rest and prepare for the cultural exploration ahead.

Day 2: Arusha Cultural Center

Start your day with a delicious breakfast before heading to the Arusha Cultural Center. Here, you'll have the opportunity to engage with local artisans, explore traditional artwork, and learn about the history and customs of various Tanzanian ethnic groups. After an enlightening day, return to your Arusha accommodation.

Day 3-4: Maasai Village Experience

Depart for the Maasai village, where you will spend two days fully immersed in the Maasai way of life. Participate in daily activities, learn about their unique traditions, and interact with the Maasai people. Enjoy traditional meals and storytelling around the campfire. Overnight stays will be in a comfortable, culturally inspired lodge within the village.

Day 5-6: Lake Eyasi Cultural Interaction

Travel to Lake Eyasi, a remote and enchanting region inhabited by the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes. Spend two days engaging in their daily routines, from hunting and gathering with the Hadzabe to discovering the intricacies of metalwork with the Datoga. Overnight stays will be in a cozy camp near the lake, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the local culture.

Day 7: Karatu Cultural Encounters

Head to the picturesque town of Karatu, known for its vibrant markets and welcoming community. Engage in cultural exchanges, visit local farms, and gain insights into the traditional agricultural practices of the area. After a day of exploration, return to your accommodation in Karatu.

  When Reality Exceeds All Expectations ..
I've been raving non-stop since returning home!! I have to apologize for taking so long to review our experience. It was breathtaking and mind boggling .. our guide seemed to have an inate sense of when and where to be, in order to get the best and closest views of all the animals. On more than one occasion, I looked around to see if we were getting punked and where all the cameras were .. How could there be soooo many different groups of animals, with so many in each herd? Ostriches, Pumbas, Elephants, so many Zebras that twice, we had to wait for them to clear away from the road .. including one with a red stripe on his butt .. he may have been the slowest in the herd, but I was happy to see that he still made it through. My son did look up a list of the animals that might be found in the preserve, and we actually saw them all .. except for a Cheetah .. apparently they are very shy .. but in truth, they're so stealthy that you probably won't see one until it's too late.? The lion prides that we saw were magnificent .. on the ground, walking beside the vehicle or in the trees .. they took our breath away. Elephants .. there aren't enough words .. whether you're sitting next to one who's enjoying his flower lunch, or looking into the eyes of the elders walking within inches of you, while you know he's probably wondering why you're in his way as he leads the herd to the watering hole, you just don't ever want to move on, in fear that you'll break the spell .. you never want those moments to end. I can't thank our guide enough .. besides his inate ability to know where they would be, his knowledge of each animal and patience with all our questions, as well as a multitude of tidbits of knowledge that we never ever thought to ask, was greatly appreciated. When making our arrangements, we had the pleasure of dealing with Mr. Soulpeace Mzee .. he couldn't have been more helpful and caring when making arrangements for our Safari. We were blessed the day he came into our lives. When I further needed to make arrangements for a second day of local cultural activities and shopping, he made sure that all of my requests were taken care of, and exceeded all my hopes. Form the start Soulpeace the director proved to be a professional. He was not only very helpful in designing our bespoke trip, but also helped us get great deals from the lodges. The overall experience in the parks was amazing, so many wildlife encounters with super-guide Mushi, cultural visits to Maasai and Hadzabe tribes and unforgettable sunsets in the Serengeti. We were a large diverse group of about 30 people. We had babies as well as elderly people with limited mobility. I found the drivers very friendly Funand accommodating of our different needs.
