Day 1: Arrival in Moshi

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you'll be warmly welcomed and transferred to the vibrant town of Moshi, located at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro. Take time to rest and prepare for your upcoming trek.

Day 2: Machame Gate to Machame Camp

After breakfast, embark on an exhilarating drive to the Machame Gate, the starting point of your journey. Begin your ascent through lush rainforests teeming with diverse flora and fauna, gradually ascending to the Machame Camp. This trail offers glimpses of stunning scenery along the way.

Day 3: Machame Camp to Shira Camp

Embark on a challenging yet rewarding trek through Afro-montane forest, gradually emerging into vast heather moorlands. Traverse across striking ridges and valleys, enjoying breathtaking panoramic views, as you make your way to the Shira Camp nestled beneath the grand Shira Plateau.

Day 4: Shira Camp to Barranco Camp

Today's trek takes you up to the Lava Tower, standing at an impressive altitude of 4,600 meters, offering breathtaking panoramic vistas. Afterward, descend to the Barranco Camp, located in a picturesque valley. The route presents an exciting challenge, including the iconic Barranco Wall, where you'll conquer it with the guidance of experienced guides.

Day 5: Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp

Embark on a journey filled with scenic wonders as you trek through diverse landscapes, including valleys, lush vegetation, and rocky terrain. Reach the Karanga Camp, nestled at an altitude of 3,995 meters. Take time to rest and enjoy the stunning surroundings.

Day 6: Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp

Ascend from Karanga Camp through alpine desert landscapes, rewarding you with mesmerizing views of the vast summit. Continue your trek to the Barafu Camp, situated at an elevation of 4,673 meters. Take this time for rest and final preparations for your imminent summit push.

Day 7: Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak to Mweka Camp to Moshi

Embark on the ultimate challenge – your summit attempt. Start your climb well before midnight, guided by experienced mountaineers, through demanding scree slopes, towards Stella Point. Witness the awe-inspiring sunrise before continuing your ascent to the iconic Uhuru Peak, the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro standing at 5,895 meters. Celebrate and capture this incredible achievement before descending to the Mweka Camp for a brief rest. Finally, make your way down to the Mweka Gate and be transferred back to Moshi, where you can revel in your triumphant accomplishment.
