Day by day Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome to Tanzania!

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where our representative will warmly greet you and transfer you to your luxurious lodge near Tarangire National Park. Enjoy your first night under the starry African sky.

Accommodation: Arusha Serena Hotel
Includes: Airport transfer, accommodation

Day 2: Tarangire National Park Exploration

Embark on your first game drive in Tarangire National Park, famous for its massive elephant herds and diverse wildlife. The park's ancient baobab trees and rolling savannah create a picturesque backdrop. Overnight stay at a safari lodge within the park.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater

Drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater—a UNESCO World Heritage site and a natural wonder. Witness the unique interactions between predators and their prey in this self-contained ecosystem. Spend the night at a lodge overlooking the crater rim.

Day 4: Maasai Cultural Experience

Engage in an enriching Maasai cultural experience, gaining insights into their traditional way of life and their coexistence with wildlife. Afterward, journey to the Serengeti National Park. En route, enjoy game viewing. Arrive at your Serengeti lodge for a restful evening.

Day 5-6: Serengeti Game Drives

Spend two full days exploring the vast Serengeti, home to the Great Migration and an incredible array of wildlife. Witness lions, cheetahs, wildebeests, and zebras in their natural habitat. Enjoy both morning and afternoon game drives, maximizing your chances of encountering the Big Five. Stay at your Serengeti lodge.

Day 7: Farewell and Departure

After a final morning game drive in the Serengeti, return to the lodge for breakfast. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for some last-minute souvenir shopping before being transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure.

  When Reality Exceeds All Expectations ..
I've been raving non-stop since returning home!! I have to apologize for taking so long to review our experience. It was breathtaking and mind boggling .. our guide seemed to have an inate sense of when and where to be, in order to get the best and closest views of all the animals. On more than one occasion, I looked around to see if we were getting punked and where all the cameras were .. How could there be soooo many different groups of animals, with so many in each herd? Ostriches, Pumbas, Elephants, so many Zebras that twice, we had to wait for them to clear away from the road .. including one with a red stripe on his butt .. he may have been the slowest in the herd, but I was happy to see that he still made it through. My son did look up a list of the animals that might be found in the preserve, and we actually saw them all .. except for a Cheetah .. apparently they are very shy .. but in truth, they're so stealthy that you probably won't see one until it's too late.? The lion prides that we saw were magnificent .. on the ground, walking beside the vehicle or in the trees .. they took our breath away. Elephants .. there aren't enough words .. whether you're sitting next to one who's enjoying his flower lunch, or looking into the eyes of the elders walking within inches of you, while you know he's probably wondering why you're in his way as he leads the herd to the watering hole, you just don't ever want to move on, in fear that you'll break the spell .. you never want those moments to end. I can't thank our guide enough .. besides his inate ability to know where they would be, his knowledge of each animal and patience with all our questions, as well as a multitude of tidbits of knowledge that we never ever thought to ask, was greatly appreciated. When making our arrangements, we had the pleasure of dealing with Mr. Soulpeace Mzee .. he couldn't have been more helpful and caring when making arrangements for our Safari. We were blessed the day he came into our lives. When I further needed to make arrangements for a second day of local cultural activities and shopping, he made sure that all of my requests were taken care of, and exceeded all my hopes. The overall experience in the parks was amazing, so many wildlife encounters with super-guide Mushi, cultural visits to Maasai and Hadzabe tribes and unforgettable sunsets in the Serengeti. We were a large diverse group of about 30 people. We had babies as well as elderly people with limited mobility. I found the drivers very friendly Funand accommodating of our different needs.
