Mountain Climbing & Trekking

Northern Tanzania

Mount Kilimanjaro, Meru & Ol' Doinyo Lengai

We have devoted to choose the key types of Mountains and the best routes to climb for your Tanzania  Safari Climbing that has considered various factors including availability of adventurous attractions, security and as well as availability of fundamental basic needs among others. The common three types of mountain that we offer services includes Mountain Kilimanjaro (the most famous in the world), Mount Meru and Ol’ Doinyo Lengai Mountain.

The Mountain Kilimanjaro is one of the world’s Seven Summits and the most famous mountain on the continent of Africa, Kilimanjaro, at 5,895 meters, is climbed by mountaineers from every corner of the globe. There are several routes to reach the summit but we have chosen the four most safety routes which are Marangu and Machame routes among the most well-known, other routes are Rongai and Lemosho (Shira) routes. Mountain Kilimanjaro climbing presents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to ascend Africa’s best, surrounded by beauty and serenity. At a height of 4,566 meters (14,980 ft), Mount Meru is a dormant stratovolcano located in Arusha National Park, 70 Kilometres (43 miles) west of Mount Kilimanjaro in the country of Tanzania. Typically Mount Meru Climb takes four days, but it can be done in 3 days to complete a trek to the Summit.

It is visible from Mount Kilimanjaro on a clear day, and is the fifth-highest mountain in Africa, dependent on definition. Climb Mount Meru, Second highest Mountain in Tanzania, is great with no traffic and amazing wildlife experience as you hike past wild animals.

“Oldoinyo Lengai” means “The Mountain of God” in the Maasai language. The summit of this strato-volcano is 2962 metres above sea level, and affords direct views into the caldera of Tanzania’s only officially-certified active volcano, and the world’s only carbonatite volcano; records of eruptions have been maintained since 1883, the largest of which deposited ash 100 kilometres away in Loliondo on the Kenyan border to the north west.

Photography & Filming Safaris

Tanzania National Park

Northern, Southern, Western and Coastal Area

Tanzania is rare glimpse of the raw beauty of nature. With its prolific and diverse wildlife plus its impressive landscapes, Tanzania is truly a photographer’s heaven.

Imagine being able to capture moments during the Great Migration. With action happening anywhere, every snap of that camera will surely be mind-blowing. Whether you are an avid instagrammed who loves revving up his feed or a professional travel photographer who is taking on a wildlife project in Tanzania safari or even just a regular tourist with a camera, your photos will surely be astrophysical.

Approximately between June and November months of each year, the northern circuit of Tanzania gets very little rainfall, hence becoming dry. During this season, the grass eventually turns golden brown and available water sources dry up forcing the animals move into the areas where there is abundant water supply.

The heards of Wildebeest, Zebra, Antelope and Gazelle that roam the northern Serengeti are pushed north and east, and cross the Mara river into Kenya. A segment of this population remains in the Grumeti region year-round and another unrelated group pours into Tarangire National Park along with thousands of Elephant in search of water

We exclusively reserve Tanzania safari for photographic package for you according to the seasons, climate and wildlife movement. The photographic programs are set in a way to give our guests a pleasant time out as long as it takes to unlimited game viewing opportunities and get off beaten track and professional safari photos, often leaving early in the morning and staying out as late as possible.

NAT – DMC will visit extensively to those areas which attracts masses of herbivores and the endangered predators.

Luxurious Flying Safaris

Northern Tanzania

Serengeti National Park

This is extremely very unique adventurous and extremely impressive Tanzania Safari that we serve in a year. It involves floating in a hot air balloon over the famous Serengeti National Park with its captivating background and panoramas.

We  run operations from Seronera (Central Serengeti) all year round and operates seasonally with migration of the wildebeest at Kogatende (Northern Serengeti) from July to October, Ndutu (Southern Serengeti) from December to March and Kirawira ( Western Serengeti) from July to October: enjoy an incredible balloon safari flying over the Serengeti Ecosystem,

With an hour flight at sunrise over the beautiful plains of the Serengeti, you will be able to view the animals and migration from up high as you float across the savannah. The best thing about this is, you get to dine in the bush while a lot of game happens in your background! With a setting that’s nothing short of exceptional, this experience is virtually unmanageable to miss.

We offer balloons  of  12 and 16 pax capacity and one heart shaped balloon capacity for 2 pax + butler, specially designed for honeymooners and or anniversaries.

ITINERARY- BRIEF

We begin by picking you up from your camp/lodge. This will be handled by our consultant guides at a pre-specified time so as to ensure arrival at our launch area by approximately 6am. This gives you ample time to enjoy some hot Tanzania coffee and tea with homemade cookies. A mobile toilet/sink and free Wi-Fi are available for you to use at your disposal. During this time, the pilot will brief you on essential safety measures and the launch and landing procedures. This will be followed by a briefing on what to expect during the balloon inflation process. Hint: the view may leave you mesmerized.

Boarding will commence at around 6:30am. There are two types of boarding procedures. The basket will either be laid sideways or stand up-right.*

After you elevate from the ground, it is probable that you will witness a magnificent African sunrise.*

During the flight, you will have an uninterrupted birds eye view of the vast plain of the Serengeti (it will become apparent why the local Maasai refer to it as Siringet- endless plains). The pilot will make valiant attempts to spot the game for you and even lower the balloon to allow you the opportunity for a better viewing. He may raise the balloon for improved speeds/direction as well as breathtaking views.

Enjoy the tranquility as the balloon glides; every little sound is amplified. Hot coffee/tea and cookies continue to be served during the flight, which usually lasts around 1 hour, give or take 15 minutes.*

Landing is contingent on the landscape of the area as well as the weather conditions. The basket could tip over, and/or have a few bumps before coming to a halt. However, most of the time, it is as smooth and soft as the flight itself. Once you disembark, you will experience the joys of a champagne celebration followed by a little history guide on how this tradition came to fruition.

After, you will be driven to our carefully selected bush breakfast area. Our butlers will warmly welcome you to enjoy a scrumptious plated breakfast. Please ensure that you have provided us with any specific dietary requirements in advance so as to help us cater to your specific needs.

Post breakfast, you will be presented with exclusive certificates after which our drivers will take you to an agreed upon meeting point (here, you meet up with your guide and continue with your itinerary). Should you require any further arrangements, please let us know beforehand to ensure that we plan accordingly.

The Airstrips are a 10 to 15 minute drive from our breakfast area. For clients with a flight to catch at around 9:30am, this is very manageable. Remember that check-in at the airstrip is quick and simple. Please notify us if this case applies to you and we will prepare your breakfast preferentially.

**Contingent on weather conditions**

Cultural Tourism

Northern Tanzania & Coastal Areas

Maasai, Hadzabe and Chagga

East Africa is held as the cradle of mankind, and Tanzania in particular is renowned for the discoveries that were found at Olduvai Gorge. It is with this backdrop that is home to diverse cultures. For the visitors there is more to see than the world animals.  While the game is great, a Tanzania Safari visit with the culture in mind not only opens one to the rich history but also to the diversity of languages, cultures and people.

Tanzania is not only home to the Maasai, but also has other older cultures that call it home and have been here for hundreds if not thousands of years. From the shores of Lake Victoria to the sandy beaches in Zanzibar one is amazed by the richness wrapped up in the ruins, the cultures and the history.

From the Maasai, walking on the plains of Ngorongoro, to the Hadzabe hunting in the bushes of Lake Eyasi, one is amazed by how different communities can be, as they pass their tradition from one generation to the other by word of mouth. Amidst these communities are other that are not as famous, but they also offer a richness in history and in diversity.

Travel to Tanzania with Noble Adventure Tanzania (NAT) DMC will expose you to many cultural activities; among others you will meet the Chagga. This tribe is well known for its Arabica coffee plantation, you will be exploring coffee life cycle and visit coffee plantations. The cultural tourism program is by far your host to Kilimanjaro coffee tour.

Ngorongoro Adventures, can arrange a visit to a Maasai boma, where you will experience how they live and the set-up the homestead. For those who love Tanzania Adventure, they can take part in the preparation of food and listen to the stories of times gone-by.

With the Hadzabe, one can wake up early in the morning from the camp or lodge and join them as they go hunting in the bushes for food. All these experiences are designed such that the local community gains from the tourists who visit.

For the lovers of history and who want to delve in the mysteries of past communities, Engaruka ruins are a perfect recipe. The ruins are remnants of a community that was so advanced that they had a complicated system of irrigation to cater for their farms. But somehow for some unknown reasons, the whole tribe left around 18th century and no one knows where they had come from, and where they went. The area is in the plains of the Rift Valley and has fertile land, which begs the question, why would a whole community leave a village that they had developed for years and stop to return. These ruins are still there for visitors to marvel at the technology of ancient people.

At the coast(eastern circuit), one meets the fusion of cultures. From the inter-marriage between Bantus and the Arabs, a new language was formed. Swahili is one of the languages that does not look back beyond five centuries. From Pemba to Kilwa the islands are a testament to the adventures of human beings to the resilience of the human spirit.
